This workshop is the sixteenth in a series of scientific meetings organised by the mathematical physicists working in Turkey, that were initiated by Tekin Dereli and Metin Gurses in 2001. The main goal of the workshops is to bring together active theoretical physicists in Turkey to report on their latest papers and exchange ideas. Topics covered include general methods of quantization, general relativity, cosmology, supersymmetry, topological methods, dualities, supergravity, strings, conformal field theories and integrable systems. Mimar Sinan Güzel Sanatlar Üniversitesi-Fizik Bölümü, Özyeğin Üniversitesi ve İstanbul Bilgi Üniversitesi tarafından düzenlenen İstanbul Yüksek Enerji Fiziği Çalıştayı'nın beşincisi 28-29 Nisan 2018 tarihlerinde gerçekleşecektir. YEFIST Çalıştayları, İstanbul ve çevresinde aktif araştırma yapan yüksek enerji fiziği araştırmacıları ile yüksek lisans ve doktora öğrencilerini bir araya getirmeyi ve değişik YEF gruplarının birbirleri ile etkileşmelerine olanak sağlamayı hedeflemektedir.
YEFİST2018'e katılacak davetli konuşmacılar aşağıda listelenmiştir.

BİLDİRİ ÇAĞRISI:
5. İstanbul Yüksek Enerji Fiziği Çalıştayı'nda sunulacak bildirilerin, özetleri online kitapçık olarak, tam metinleri ise ISBN’li ve editörlü basılı kitap olarak yayınlanacaktır. Bildiri özetlerinizi 6 Nisan 2018 tarihinden önce yollamanız gerekmektedir. Başvurusu kabul edilen bildirilere 20 dakikalık sunum için süre verilecektir.

KOBIT 2- Kuantum Optiği ve Bilişim Toplantısı
Toplantı Hakkında
Kuantum Optiği ve Bilişim Toplantısı (KOBİT) serisinin temel amacı, Türkiye'de kuantum optiği ve bilişim alanlarında çalışmakta olan veya çalışmayı hedefleyen araştırmacıları bir araya getirmek, paylaşım ve işbirliği temelli bir kuantum optiği ve bilişim topluluğunun oluşumuna katkıda bulunmaktır. 2016 yılında Hacettepe Üniversitesi'ndeki bir hazırlık toplantısıyla başlatılan KOBİT, 2017'de İzmir Yüksek Teknoloji Enstitüsü'nde düzenlendi.
Serinin üçüncü toplantısı KOBİT 2, İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi ve Koç Üniversitesi'nin desteğiyle 1-2 Şubat 2018 tarihlerinde Mimar Sinan Güzel Sanatlar Üniversitesi'nde düzenlenecektir.
Oxford Üniversitesi'nden Vlatko Vedral'in ana konuşmacı olacağı toplantıda, çağrılı konuşmaların yanı sıra sözlü sunumlar ve poster sunumları da yapılacaktır.

AdS/CFT Quantum Spectral Curve and its applications to the calculation of the spectrum of N=4 super Yang-Mills

Abstract: In this series of lectures we are going present a short overview of some integrable structures appearing in the context of AdS/CFT correspondence. Namely, we will sketch the derivation of the novel approach to the quantization of the N=4 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory including the usage of integrability, the Quantum Spectral Curve. Then we are going to present several examples of the application of this method to the calculation of spectrum of N=4 SYM. These examples will contain the consideration of the operators from the so-called sl(2) sector in the BFKL limit and their connection with the high-energy scattering.

XHADRONS@ISTANBUL is the "1st International Workshop on Exotic Hadrons" to be held from September 3rd to 5th, 2015 at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Istanbul (Turkey).

This is the second of a series of annual meetings that we organize in order to foster the academic collaboration between Russian and Turkish researchers working on the field. These meetings will focus on recent progress in various areas of theoretical and mathematical physics that are related to the title of the meeting.
The aim of the workshop is to benefit most from the interaction between the scientists. Therefore neither there will be a fixed time schedule nor fixed title for the talks/lectures.
The talks/lectures will be held at the (art) drawing studio of Fine Arts Faculty. (Desen atölyesi - Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi). The open address and the link to the google map can be found here.
Unfortunately there are no funds available for any kind of support. All participants must organize their accommodation on their own, if needed.
